League Scheduler

Whether you create your schedules one league at a time, or multiple leagues at once, our League Scheduler can help. Create PDF or HTML files of your schedules and league standings to post on your website.

The options on the Main Screen are designed so you can enter information in the order the scheduler needs it to successfully create a schedule. The first screen is the Define Leagues screen. This is where you tell the software how to schedule games between teams in each league. You can have an unlimited number of leagues in your league file. And you can change the status of a league from active to inactive with a click of a button.

The Game Locations screen allows you to enter the names of all the fields, courts, stadiums and other locations you'll be using to schedule games and events.

The Days and Times screen lets you assign game times and starting dates for your leagues. You can use any combination of locations, times and dates to satisfy scheduling requirements.

The Team Names screen allows you to enter teams and assign them to a league. You can enter all your teams into the team file regardless of whether the sport is baseball, football, basketball, softball, soccer, darts, billiards, etc. You can also record a coach or manager's contact information for each team.

You can create a schedule for any league through the Schedule Wizard screen as soon as you enter information in the four screens mentioned above. The scheduler allows you to schedule just one league at a time or any combination of leagues. For instance, if you have multiple flag football leagues and they all share the same fields, you can make entries for the fields in the Days and Times screen to distribute all games to those fields. When you have a situation where a league can play at only one field, for example, an 8 and Under girls' softball league, you can make your entries in the Days and Times screen just for that field and then select the option to create a schedule just for that league. Inter-League scheduling is also available when you have a league with two divisions and want to schedule 'out-of-division' games. You also have the option of assigning teams to their own 'home field' or playing location.

Once the League Scheduler creates your schedule you can edit each league's games by changing game times, game dates, locations or by swapping games to accommodate a last minute request. You do this on the Schedule Information screen. This edit screen, and any other screen that requires a date entry, provides a calendar pop-up screen that makes it very easy to select a date. The edit screen allows you to change teams' playing location to a home field if necessary.

After you finish your schedule you can Print reports for each league, team, location, or date. Click here to view a few sample reports produced by the League Scheduler.

Create a web page for each of your leagues and post them on your website. As you start entering scores, you can print league standings and also post them on your website by creating web pages.

Export your schedule files to popular formats such as Excel, Access, dBase, Tab Delimited text and Comma Separated Value. This option lets you use the schedule files in other programs installed on your computer, allowing you to work with other software you might use on a daily basis. (You can also export the team file so you can create and print your own custom labels, merge letters, certificates, etc.)

The League Scheduler is bundled with the Blue Ribbon Software Scheduler Package.
